Nice coverage of the show from blogs - both local and national - in the last week or so:

Through MyLeftNutmeg.com, we found Ken Krayeske's post about our "infrastructure" program on his blog The 40-Year Plan.  He calls us "good morning radio" (thanks) and talks about our interaction with Governor Rell.  He also references Andy Bromage's recent work in the Advocate papers about Governor Rell's daily schedule, and how Where We Live fits in to her schedule.  

Our guest on that show, Heather Brandon of urbancompass.net also blogged about the show, and the transportation topics we covered.  

The "Streets of Stamford" picked up on our program with that city's mayor, Dan Malloy.  That show was the kickoff of a new series called "The State of our Cities" - featuring conversation with the mayors of the state's urban communities, big and small.  Eddie Perez of Hartford next on January 7th.  

And, we even got into the Brookings Institution's blog for our interview with Carol Graham about happiness and the financial crisis.  

Finally, today is CPBN's holiday party.  This tradition has taken a hit nationwide, according to the LA Daily News:  In its survey of 100 companies, Chicago-based workplace experts, Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc. found that 23 percent of companies aren't having a holiday party this year, compared with 10 percent last year.  "The number of companies that decided to drop holiday parties was certainly shockingly low," said John Challenger, the company's chief executive officer. "You know you are cutting to the bone when you decide to cut out essentials like the holiday party everyone has come to expect. It feels Scrooge-like."
