Published: September 23, 2009 - 10:16am

Yesterday's U.N. Conference on Climate Change kicked things off with Mr. Obama pledging U.S. cooperation in advance of the December meeting in Copenhagen about the issue.  But other world leaders are looking warily at a U.S. government that can't get it's domestic cap and trade plan passed, let alone lead a global effort.

Today, President Obama addresses the General Assembly, in a speech that could be a lead-in to the two day G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh starting tomorrow.

The U.S. plans to push for a new economic world order - that includes greater cooperation between major economic powers and developing nations.

Today, Where We Live, local and national voices on climate change, the U.N. meeting, and the G-20.  Join the conversation!
